Wix is a popular cloud-based platform for building professional, feature-rich websites. After working extensively with Shopify, I wanted to broaden my platform expertise, so I proactively learned to build on Wix.
This post highlights my experience moving from learning the platform to delivering a high-profile, custom website.
The Problem
Top professionals need a personal website that does more than just list their accomplishments; it needs to reflect their brand and create a memorable experience. How I Used It
I applied my new Wix skills to two key projects:

Personal Brand Site for Robin Daniels: I built the website robindaniels.co for Robin Daniels, a C-level executive with a background at companies like Salesforce, LinkedIn, and WeWork. The site's standout feature is a personal AI clone of Robin, which I set up to allow visitors to have a conversation with an AI trained on his professional data and unique voice.

My Own Portfolio Site: Following that project, I built my own website (the one you're on now) using Wix. This allowed me to dive deeper into its advanced features and incorporate light custom coding to achieve a specific look and functionality.

My comfort with Wix has grown to the point where I can now build, manage, and customize sites with confidence.
